In contrast, a quilt is a blanket constructed from multiple layers of fabric stitched together to form a pattern or design. These layers commonly consist of cotton, wool, or synthetic fibers, with stitching applied by hand or machine. Quilts come in various sizes and designs, ranging from small lap quilts to large bed quilts.
